Emergency Help

Emergency Help

Wellview is not a crisis service.

If you or anyone you know is thinking of suicide obtain immediate medical attention.
Suicidal thoughts need to be taken seriously and help obtained.

If you are concerned about your safety, the safety of others or need other urgent help, please don’t contact our practice via email or phone. You can obtain urgent help by:

• Attending your local hospital Emergency Department

• Calling one of the following:

– Lifeline 13 11 14

– Kids helpline – counselling and support provided for young people (up to 24 years old) who are feeling
depressed, sad or lonely – or just need someone to talk to – 1800 55 1800

• In an emergency call 000

Note: The Mental Health Access Line 1800 011 511 can also connect patients with their local area Acute Mental Health Care Team.
